Argentina 1948 centavo

from the Mountain Groan Collection

This specimen was from a type struck 1945-48, after which the denomination was suspended. It is very similar to the type struck 1939-44 (KM 37) and is accompanied by a bronze two centavos (KM 38a). This type is very common in dealer junk boxes but is scarce in nice condition for a coin of such a low catalog value.

Recorded mintage: 4,419,545.
