This specimen was lot 12002 in Ponterio sale 177 (Chicago, August 2013), where it sold for $9,400. The catalog description[1] noted, "ARGENTINA. 8 Escudos, 1834-RA P. RARE date. Nice strike. NGC AU-50." This type was struck 1826-35 and is expensive.
