Andorra, a micronation wedged between France and Spain in the Pyrenees mountains, has normally used the coinage of her neighbors but on occasions has issued coins for sale to collectors. This specimen was lot 70095 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, February 2020), where it sold for $110. The catalog description[1] noted, "ANDORRA. Diner, 2011. PCGS PROOF-69 Deep Cameo. Offering a great close up portrait of the pope, this highly reflective issue presents charming eye appeal and a deep golden-orange hue." Two NCLT diners were issued in 2011 (this one and one featuring Napoleon), followed by fifteen in 2012.

Specification: 1.24 g, 0.999 fine gold, 13.92 mm diameter.
