This note was lot 2668 in Goldberg sale 62 (Beverly Hills, February 2010), where it sold for $1,610. The catalog description[1] noted, "1902, $10 National Bank Note. The American NB, Santa Ana, CA. PCGS Fine 12. Santa Ana's shortest lived bank, which came and went in just four years and issued only Third Charter $10 and $20 Plain Backs. Only eight notes are known from here, all of which are pretty low grade, with even the Colver and Horwedel specimens grading no more than Very Good."
