This specimen was lot 1580 in Stephen Album sale 30 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2018), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "ALGERIA: People's Democratic Republic, 1 dinar, 1964/AH1383, only 6 examples known, PCGS graded Specimen-65, ex King's Norton Mint Collection. This is the highest graded example!"

Recorded mintage: 15,000,000 plus proofs.

Specification: copper-nickel.
