The communist regime in Albania collapsed in 1992 as part of the general failure of communism in Russia and eastern Europe. The succeeding regime did not get around to issuing coins until 1995 and this ten lekë was issued in 2018. It depicts a castle. It is unlisted since altho commemorative ten lekë (KM 93, 94) are listed for 2005. As of August 2023, US$1 = 97.5 lekë, making this coin worth about US$0.10.
