This specimen was lot 714 in Stephen Album sale 30 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2018), where it sold for $258.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "AFGHANISTAN: Muhammad Zahir, 1933-1973, AV 4 grams, SH1317, NGC graded MS62." This type was struck SH1315 and SH1317 and indeed weighs 4 grams. Its face value is uncertain but was probably meant to trade for half a sovereign; a accompanying eight grams likely equaled a full sovereign.
