In 1920, the Rhineland town of Aachen issued a set of ten, twenty-five, fifty and seventy-five pfennig notgeld. "1 ocher grosche" mean "one ox penny" was likely an inside joke, especially with the head of a fishwifeon the obverse. The coin matched other ten pfennig notgeld issued at the time and is so classified here.

Recorded mintage: 2,944,000 (one of the most common notgeld).
