This specimen was lot 2034 in Sedwick Treasure Auction 39 (Winter Park, FL, May 2026), where it sold for $192. The catalog description[1] noted, "HONDURAS, struck at the Philadelphia Mint, 20 centavos, 1931, PCGS MS64. First year of issue for this type. Lustrous piece with nice details and pale golden toning throughout." The peso was dropped in favor of the lempira in 1931. The lempira was pegged at US$0.50, making this coin worth ten cents. In fact, these were struck in Philadelphia on dime blanks. Other dates include 1932, 1951-52 and 1958.
