Heritage sale 3038, part of lot 35275

This specimen was part of lot 35275 in Heritage sale 3038 (Dallas, January 2015), where it sold for $587.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Charles IV Lot of Sixteen Colonial 1 Real Coins, Various dates. Average grade is Fine. From The Santa Maria Collection." This type was struck 1791-1807 and is scarce compared the similar one real from Mexico City.

Specification: 1.69 g, .896 fine silver, .048 troy oz ASW.
