Künker Auction 350, Lot 1124

This specimen was lot 1124 in Künker auction 350 (Osnabrück, Jul 2021), where it sold for 4800 EUR. The catalog description[1] noted,

"EICHSTÄTT. BISTUM. Johann Anton II. von Freyberg, 1736-1757. Konv.-Taler 1755, Nürnberg. Cahn 124; Dav. 2207. Selten, besonders in dieser Erhaltung. Prachtexemplar. Herrliche Patina, fast Stempelglanz (EICHSTÄTT. DIOCESE. Johann Anton II of Freyberg, 1736–1757. Convention Thaler 1755, Nuremberg. 27.92 g. Cahn 124; Dav. 2207. Rare, especially in this condition. Magnificent specimen. Superb patina, almost mint condition.)"
