Russia 1733 poltina
This specimen was lot 1741 in Sincona sale 63 (Zürich, June 2020), where it sold for 2,000 CHF (about US$2,506 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA | Russian Empire and Federation | Anna, 1730-1740, Poltina 1733, Kadashevsky Mint. Head smaller, portrait closer to the center. On the obverse under the ribbon decoration in 2 rows, on the reverse crowns without crosses. Very rare in this condition. 3 roubles according to Petrov. About uncirculated. Cabinet piece." This poltina, or half ruble, was struck 1731-33 and is scarce but not rare like previous issues.
