This specimen was lot 2507 in Steve Album Auction 51 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2025), where it sold for $66. The catalog description[1] noted, "MUGHAL: Akbar I, 1556-1605, AR rupee, Lahore, IE42, month of Shahrewar, bold strike, XF." The SCWC notes this type from Lahore for years IE 45-49. Earlier dates exist as shown here. This is a somewhat scarce mint. The Ilahi Era (IE) was a solar calendar used during Akbar's reign for the dating of coinage and was abandoned a few years after his death.
