This specimen was lot 2538 in Steve Album Auction 51 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2025), where it sold for $144. The catalog description[1] noted, "MUGHAL: Jahangir, 1605-1628, AR rupee, Patna, AH1022 year 8, month of Azar, bold strike, without any testmarks, choice XF." This mint struck this type years 6-22 and is common. Twenty mints struck this type, of which Tatta and Ahmadabad are the most common.
