This specimen was lot 3562 in Sincona sale 83 (Zurich, May 2023), where it sold for 900 CHF (about US$1,205 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN, Adolph Friedrich, 1751-1771. Riksdaler 1754, Stockholm. Münzmeister Hans Malmberg (1738-1762). Variante mit Stempelschneidersignatur F (Carl Gustaf Fehrman) auf der Vorderseite. Mit Randschrift. Selten. Fast vorzüglich. Leicht gereinigt (kingdom of Sweden, Adolf Frederick, 1751-71, riksdaler of 1754, Stockholm mint, variety with engraver's initial "F" on the obverse and edge lettering. Rare, About extremely fine, lightly cleaned)." In the pre-reform Swedish coinage, 8 öre = one mark and 48 öre = one riksdaler. This type was struck in several varieties 1751-66 and is reasonably common.
