This specimen is one of a type issued 1992-2002 as part of the reform of the peso in 1992 (one new peso = 100 old pesos). It was discontinued as inflation had made it useless.

Recorded mintage: 125,000,000.

Specification: 1.58 g, stainless steel, 16.5 mm diameter.
