This specimen was lot 3216 in Künker sale 294 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €3,300 (about US$4,717 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SCHWEDEN, KÖNIGREICH, Friedrich I. 1720-1751. 1/2 Dukat 1747, Stockholm. Ausbeutehalbdukat, geprägt mit Gold aus Småland (Ädelfors). GOLD. Von großer Seltenheit. Sehr schön. (kingdom of Sweden, Frederick I, 1720-51, half ducat of 1747, Stockhom mint, for the mines of Småland. Very rare, very fine.)"

In the pre-reform Swedish coinage, 8 öre = one mark and 96 öre = one riksdaler. This one year type is rare.
