This specimen was lot 74008 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2024), where it sold for $1,320. The catalog description[1] noted, "[{Bermuda|BERMUDA]]. 50 Dollars, 1989. Elizabeth II. NGC PROOF-69 Ultra Cameo. Hogge Money. Bright and flashy with hard mirror fields and frosted intricate devices. This low mintage issue garnered a nearly perfect grade from NGC and is tone, haze or fog." This "Hogge Money" theme was used on several NCLT's of 1989-90.
