This specimen was lot 242 in Sincona sale 75 (Zurich, May 2022), where it sold for 9,000 CHF (about US$10,924 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Grossbritannien | Königreich. George III. 1760-1820. Guinea 1767, London. Third laureate head. NGC MS64. Prachtvolle Erhaltung. (Magnificent condition.)"
This type is listed for 1765-73 and is the first guinea of George III not extremely rare.
