NGC MS-63. World War I issue struck in iron. The surfaces of this coin are attractively glossy with a steely hue that is immediately engaging to the viewer. Well struck with few distracting marks. A most pleasing coin that demonstrates the unexpected attractiveness of iron as a coining metal." This type is listed for 1917-19 and iron was used as a substitute for bronze during World War One.
