This specimen was lot 14832 in Heritage auction 456 (Orlando, FL, January 2008), where it sold for $2,760. The catalog description[1] noted, "Victorville, CA - $10 1929 Ty. 1 The First NB Ch. # 11005. One of only five small size examples known from this San Bernardino County bank. It has been four decades since this particular note has been offered. The Horwedel example, which was a $20 note, realized $3680 in 2004. Expect the note offered here this evening to realize in the area of... From The Kansas City Collection."

This specimen was lot 18357 in Heritage auction 354 (the Horwedel sale, Long Beach, CA, September 2004), where it sold for $3,680. The catalog description[1] noted, "Victorville, CA - $20 1929 Ty. 1 The First NB Ch. # 11005. One of the scarcest banks in southern California, with just two large and four small examples enumerated in the census. This was one of Charley Colver's notes which Lowell obtained in his 1999 sale, in this case for $2860. The last small Victorville to be offered, in just about the same grade as this note, realized over $3500 in 2002. Nice About Fine. Ex-Charles Colver collection sale, lot 2101."
