The specimen shown is from a type struck 2002-08. It features a bust of Sanchez on the obverse. Production of fractional coinage was suspended in 1991 but one, five, ten and twenty-five peso coins still appear.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 6.06 g, Stainless steel center in brass ring, 23 mm diameter.
