Papal States 1732G baiocco rev Tom F.jpg

This type was minted in Gubbio 1730-38 along with KM 118 with a cartouche reverse. The SCWC notes that most of the 1730 issue used roses (KM 116) instead of ivy in the wreath. This specimen is marked regnal year "A. II" instead of "A. III" as noted in the SCWC. One hundred baiocchi made a scudo.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 10.6 g, copper.

Catalog reference: KM 115, Ber-2694.
