This specimen is the first coin issued by Tunisia as part of the F.A.O. series. Unlike most of the F.A.O. issues, this one was struck in silver. The obverse portrait is of Habib Bourgiba, founder and president of Tunisia.

Recorded mintage: 100,000.

Specification: 18 g, .680 fine silver, .393 troy oz ASW.
