This ten piso was introduced in 2000 and is still in production. It is the second issue of this denomination, the first being the People Power commemorative of 1988 (KM 250). The obverse portraits are of Mapini and Bonifacio, two heroes of the struggle against the Spanish.

Recorded mintage: unknown but common.

Specification: 8.70 g, bimetallic, 26.5 mm diameter.
