This specimen is a common date of a type struck at the Paris mint 1931-41 under the Third Republic of France. This design was also used on one franc and fifty centimes of the Thirties.

Recorded mintage: 28,071,831.

Specification: 2.2 g, aluminum, 27 mm diameter, after a design by Pierre Alexandre Morlon (1878-1951).
