This specimen was lot 71838 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2021), where it sold for $80. The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. 2 Ore, 1912. Kongsberg Mint. Haakon VII. NGC AU-58 Brown. This wholesome and gently handled example displays lovely rich chocolate brown patina." This type was struck at Oslo 1909-15, 1921-23, 1928-40 and 1946-52. The 1912 is a key date.
