This specimen was lot 71837 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2021), where it sold for $65. The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. 2 Ore, 1906. Kongsberg Mint. Haakon VII. NGC MS-61 Brown. This attractive and original looking SCARCE date exhibits a bold strike rich patina." This type was struck for Norway by the Swedish authorities 1906-07 and is the last of the denomination struck prior to independence.
