This specimen was lot 1477 in Jean Elsen sale 146 (Brussels, November 2020), where it sold for €340 (about US$496 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"FRANCE, Cinquième République (1959-), AV 10 euro, 2005. 50e anniversaire du drapeau européen. Ecrin. Flan poli. (France, Fifth Republic, since 1959, gold ten euro of 2005, fiftieth anniversary of the European flag. With capsule, Proof.)"
