This specimen was lot 5067 in Künker sale 354 (Osnabruck, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €2,800 (about US$3,897 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RUSSLAND, KAISERREICH, Alexander III. 1881-1894. 5 Rubel 1884, St. Petersburg. GOLD. R Winz. Kratzer und Randfehler, vorzüglich. (empire of Russia, Alexander III, 1881-94, five rubles of 1884, St. Petersburg mint. Rare, fine scratches and planchet flaws, extremely fine.)"
This type is listed for 1859-85 and is fairly common in circulated condition. In 1886, the standard was revised to match the French twenty francs d'or, resulting in a weight reduction to .186 troy oz.
