This specimen was lot 5022 in Ponterio sale 152 (New York, January 2010), where it sold for $667. The catalog description noted, "AZORES. 2,500 Reis Prata, 30.7.1909. P-8b. Nice even circulation is seen on this original and well inked diagonally overprinted note. VERY FINE."
