This specimen is one of a type struck 1882-96 for Argentina, most likely at the Paris mint or in Buenos Aires with French dies. The type is common but nice uncirculated specimens are undervalued. Recorded mintage: 5,473,000.

Specification: 9.91 g, bronze, 30 mm diameter. Designed by Oudiné.
