This specimen was lot 75764 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2025), where it sold for $85. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. 1/2 Ore, 1867. Stockholm Mint. Carl XV Adolf. NGC MS-65 Brown." This type was produced in 1867 only. When the krona was introduced in 1873, the half öre was not needed and was not minted. The mintage given below would not seem to require more than one die pair but large and small date varieties exist.
Recorded mintage: 64,300 (large and small date varieties).
Specification: 1.4 g, bronze, 15.8 mm diameter, plain edge.
Catalog reference: KM-715.
