This specimen was lot 1682 in Stacks-Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2015), where it sold for $1,997.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. 4 Daler Plate Money, 1731. Fredrik I (1720-51). 9 x 9 in. Scarce (Tingstrom: 94 examples known including 19 pieces from the Nicobar). Stamps well applied. Full center stamp. Corner stamps display four full legible dates, one ever so slightly off plate. Minimal scattered verdigris. Nice reddish brown patina. VERY FINE."
