The specimen shown is an example of a type struck in France. France began minting euros in 1999. The obverse image is loosely based on the iconic La Semuese of Oscar Roty.

Recorded mintage: unknown but likely common in all grades.

Specification: 4.07 g., Brass, 19.7 mm. Obv: The seed sower divides date and RF by Laurent Jorb after Oscar Roty; Rev: Denomination and globe by Luc Luycx; Edge: grooved.
