This specimen was lot 3939 in Goldberg sale 80 (Los Angeles, June 2014), where it sold for $376. The catalog description[1] noted, "Yugoslavia. Ducat, 1932. Countermark, ear of corn. Alexander I. Brilliant Uncirculated." The SCWC notes that several varieties of countermarks were applied by the government. Uncountermarked specimens are denounced as counterfeits.

Recorded mintage: est. 70,000.

Specification: 3.49 g, 0.986 fine gold, .110 troy oz AGW.
