This specimen was lot 40415 in Ponterio sale 168 (Philadelphia, August 2012), where it sold for $11,500. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRIA. Guldiner, 1479 (ca. 1511). Hall Mint. NGC XF Details--Repaired. Maximilian I & Mary of Burgundy Wedding Commemorative. Maximilian I (1486-1519). By Ulrich Ursentale. Struck to commemorate his marriage to his first wife Mary of Burgundy in 1479. Struck after the death of his second wife. Minor repair. From the Demarete Collection." This thaler is not in Davenport as it may be just a medal. There is a seven ducats with a similar design which may have been struck using the same dies.
