Sincona sale 73, lot 2121

This specimen was lot 2121 in Sincona sale 73 (Zürich, November 2021), where it sold for 1,599 CHF (about US$1,714). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BULLION AUCTION | SPAIN | Königreich. Juan Carlos I. 1975-2014. 400 Euro 2010. Goya - Selbstporträt. Feingewicht: 27 Gramm. 3'000 Exemplare geprägt. Polierte Platte. Im Originaletui mit Zertifikat. (kingdom of Spain, Juan Carlos I, 1975-2014, four hundred euros of 2010, Goya (self portrait). 3,000 pieces struck, Choice Proof, In original box with certificate.)"

This NCLT was part of a series extending 2002-17, honoring Spanish art and history. It was accompanied by KM 1181 (silver 50 euro).
