This specimen was lot 4623 in Sincona sale 95 (Zürich, October 2024), where it sold for 250 CHF (about US$347 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Zürich, Stadt und Kanton, Halbbatzen 1557, Zürich. Stempelschneider Gutenson. Selten. Fast sehr schön. (Switzerland, canton of Zürich, half batzen of 1557, Zürich mint. Rare, About Very Fine.)"
This type not listed in the SCWC or Numista. At this time, one thaler was 72 kreuzer or eighteen batzen.
