The  Berlin Wall formerly passed through the Brandenberg Gate, which also appears on the German twenty cent. To this writer's knowledge, Germany is the only country in Europe still operating branch mints; A - Berlin; D - Munich; F - Stuttgart; G - Karlsruhe and J - Hamburg. This denomination has not been struck for circulation since 2004 but still figures in the collector sets.
