This specimen was lot 3112 in Sincona sale 91 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 475 CHF (about US$638 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Bern, Stadt und Kanton, Halbbatzen 1538, Bern. Sehr selten in dieser Erhaltung. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Switzerland, canton of Bern, half batzen of 1538, Bern mint. Very rare in this condition, Very fine-extremely fine.)"
Half a batzen was two kreuzer.
