Stephen Album sale 43, lot 2130

This specimen was lot 2130 in Stephen Album sale 43 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2022), where it sold for $180. The catalog description[1] noted, "PERAK: AE keping, AH1251, brown with hints of red, one-year type, PCGS graded AU58, ex Joe Sedillot Collection." Perak is now part of Malaysia. This is the only coin listed for that state. It was probably made in Birmingham by Boulton and Watt.

Recorded mintage: unknown, but proofs exist.

Specification: copper.

Catalog reference: KM-4, Prid-50.
