JEan Elsen sale 139, lot 1042

This specimen was lot 1042 in Jean Elsen sale 139 (Brussels, December 2018), where it sold for €120 (about US$160 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"NEDERLAND, UTRECHT, Provincie, AV dukaat met de ridder, 1750. Vz/ Staande ridder n.r. met zwaard en pijlenbundel. Kz/ Tekst in versierd vierkant. bijna Zeer Fraai. (Netherlands, province of Utrecht, gold ducat of 1750. Obverse: standing knight with sword and bundle of arrows; reverse: text in four lines. about Very Fine.)"

The type is recorded from Utrecht 1587-1794; each province of the Netherlands issued its own coins.
