The specimen shown is of a type common in all grades. The type was struck 1861-65. Rafael Carrera, depicted herein, died in 1865 and his title was changed from "P[residen]TE DE LA R[epublic]A" to "FUNDADOR DE LA R[epublic]A".

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 3 g, 0.903 fine silver.
