This specimen was lot 34342 in Heritage sale 3094 (Chicago, August 2021), where it sold for $2,402.40. The catalog description[1] noted, "Alderney: British Dependency. Elizabeth II 3-Piece gold Proof "Three Graces" Sovereign Set 2020 PR70 Deep Cameo PCGS, KM-Unl. First Releases. Produced from a scant mintage of just 500 sets with 1/4, 1/2, and full Sovereign denominations, and certified with the first strike designation. A scarce set commemorating William Wyon's trademark "Three Graces" design, depicting the three kingdoms of the United Kingdom as allegorical figures or Charites. A wholesome trio sold with presentation case and COA numbered 429."

This specimen was lot 34866 in Heritage sale 3094 (Chicago, August 2021), where it sold for $9,600. The catalog description[1] noted, "India: Awadh. Brijis Qadr gold Ashrafi AH 1229 Year 26 (1813/1814)-Dated (1857) MS66 NGC, Muhammadabad Banaras mint, KM 390. Struck in the name of Shah Alam II with frozen date during the Indian Rebellion of 1857. Of far superior quality to either the David Fore or William Spengler specimens, and one of just two certified by NGC, the other ranking three points lower at an MS63. Slightly granular over the reverse (obverse as holdered), with thick die polish lines cloaking the obverse surfaces."

* Awadh AH 1229(26) ashrafi Fr-1028 listed as a mohur.

This specimen was lot 34878 in Heritage sale 3094 (Chicago, August 2021), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Iran: Qajar. Fath Ali Shah gold Toman Sahebqeran AH 1242 (1826/1827) MS62 NGC, Rikab (Rekab) mint, Type X, KM 757.6, A-2868 (R), Kazan-Unl., Khedivial-Unl., Poole-Unl., Farahbakhsh-Unl., SICA IX-Unl. 4.59 g. An extremely rare traveling mint from this reign, undocumented both by Poole in the British Museum (as of 1887) and by Album in the Ashmolean, with this remaining the sole example we have been able to locate. The term "rekab" itself means "stirrup," with the full mint name (Zarrabkhane-ye Mubarake-ye Rikab) meaning "the fortuitous mint of the stirrup"--a mobile mint which accompanied the royal army during its campaigns. Though reasonabl[y] common for the coinage of Karim Khan of the Zand Dynasty, the mint is almost never encountered during the later Qajar period. Ex. Sunrise Collection (Heritage Auction #3021, January 2013, Lot 21903); Dr. Busso Peus Nachfolger Auction 384 (November 2005, Lot 1390)."

This specimen was lot 34879 in Heritage sale 3094 (Chicago, August 2021), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Iran: Qajar. Nasir al-Din Shah gold Toman AH 1272 (1856) MS61 NGC, Rasht mint, KM 861.2, A-2925 (R), cf. Farahbakhsh-10 (this mint-date combination not listed). 3.43 g. Portrait type. A strikingly rare issue from Nasir al-Din's long reign as Shah, and the first coin of the Qajar dynasty to depict a ruler's portrait. Though most known examples were minted in the capital of Tehran, only very few are recorded from other mints, with Album only recording Astarabad and that "other mints may exist" in the 3rd edition of his Checklist. Ex. Dabestani Collection."

This specimen was lot 35010 in Heritage sale 3094 (Chicago, August 2021), where it sold for $1,440. The catalog description[1] noted, "Paraguay: Republic Cut Real ND (1865-1870) VF20 NGC, KM-Unl. Generally accompanied by a countermark for necessity during the War of the Triple Alliance, and cut vertically from a Bolivia 4 Soles (1853-1859) with a wavy edge, this makes for a rare opportunity to acquire such a fine example without the standard "Co" or "200" countermarks. Ex. Whittier Collection (Heritage Auction #410, June 2006, Lot 17367). From the Long Island Collection."

This specimen was lot 35097 in Heritage sale 3094 (Chicago, August 2021), where it sold for $1,080. The catalog description[1] noted, "Scotland: Mary, Queen of Scots (1542-1567) Penny ND (1547) VF20 NGC, S-5440. A conditionally challenging issue typically encountered in lesser states of preservation and accompanied by conditional qualifiers. The current offering boasts an impressive amount of remaining detail despite its heavy use in circulation, the legends nearly full and easily discernible, set atop a glassy chocolate-brown flan."

This specimen was lot 35098 in Heritage sale 3094 (Chicago, August 2021), where it sold for $2,160. The catalog description[1] noted, "Scotland: James VI 1/3 Ryal 1567 XF45 NGC, Edinburgh mint, S-5476. 32.5mm. A scarce example of this 16th-century fractional type, and one that apparently escaped the (crowned thistle) countermarking process in the later revaluation of 1578. Original examples of this issue rarely appear on auction, and this offering, with its pleasing original surfaces, blanketed in silver patina and showing residual traces of luster that embrace the devices, should see strong collector interest."
