Aargau 1831 kreuzer rev DSLR.jpg

This type is listed for 1831 only along with a five rappen. After being temporarily unified under Napoleon's Helvetic Republic, the cantons went their separate ways after the Congress of Vienna and issued a torrent of low value coins. Not until 1850 would a unified confederation mint her own coins and terminate the local issues.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: billon.

Catalog reference: KM 25.
