This specimen was lot 915 in Stephen Album sale 30 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2018), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "KUWAIT: Jaber al-Ahmad Al Sabah, 1977-2006, 50 fils, 1990/AH1410, PCGS Specimen pop-2/1, total 3, PCGS graded Specimen 66, ex King's Norton Mint Collection." This type was struck without change since 1962. In 1987, proof sets were issued in silver and gold.

Recorded mintage: unknown but common.

Specification: 4.50 g, nickel-brass, 23 mm diameter.
