This specimen was lot 811 in Sincona sale 46 (Zurich, May 2018), where it sold for 180 CHF (about US$216 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Osterreich, Franz Joseph I. 1848-1916. Dukat 1894, Wien. Sehr schön. Kleine Kratzer und Henkelspur. (empire of Austria-Hungary, Francis Joseph I, 1848-1916, ducat of 1894, Vienna mint. Very fine, Small scratches and mount mark.)"
This type was struck 1872-1914 and is common. The SCWC notes that more were restruck after World War One but does not state which dates. No mintmark appears on this type. Gold ducats were struck throughout Franz Josef's long reign and come in many types.
