This specimen was lot 1296 in Jean Elsen sale 160 (Brussels, November 2024), where it sold for €800 (about US$1,013 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"LUXEMBOURG, Duché, Philippe IV (1621-1665), billon sou de Luxembourg, 1641. D/ Croix de Bourgogne couronnée, accostée de la date. R/ Ecu de Luxembourg couronné. Rare. Patine foncée. Beau à Très Beau. (duchy of Luxembourg, Philip IV, 1621-65, fine to very fine.)"
