This specimen was lot 3832 in Künker sale 406 (Osnabrück, March 2024), where it sold for €950 (about US$1,247 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Karl VI. 1711-1740. Dukat 1726, KB, Kremnitz. GOLD. Feine Goldpatina, sehr schön +. (Holy Roman Empire, Charles VI, 1711-40, ducat of 1726, Kremnitz mint. Fine gold patina, choice very fine.)"
This type was struck 1712-30 and is counted as common. The auctioneers listed it under Austria but it was made in Hungary and that is where we will file it.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: 3.49 g, 0.986 fine gold, this specimen 3.19 g.
